I arrived at the Dubai International Airport on the 17th of March. Every year our company organizes a bi-annual meeting where employees from all around the globe meet up in VIP Escorts in Dubai Dubai where our headquarters are based. We then celebrate successes, plan the future course for the year and generally socialize with each other. This time, it was held in Hotel Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai, on Palm Jumeirah. A touch of paradise in paradise.
A Mercedes S500 was waiting for me at the airport. The chauffeur was really courteous and friendly. As I sat in the car I was served with appreciative appetizers: Kava and dates. Cold towels and a brochure were also handed out. I had a palatial ride to the Hotel. Check-in was quite smooth. As I set foot in the hotel and having completed all the formalities I was quickly granted access to the high-speed Wi-Fi which was freely available throughout the lounge and lobby, I connected to social media to get in touch with my other colleagues.
The staff was really urbane and polite, also approachable. The clerk instantly escorted me to my room on the 15th floor in the Imperial Club Lounge. The exclusive benefits and personalized service offered from the moment entered, in the lounge were splendid. The afternoon delights which include a beautiful blend of fresh spices and herbs which make the tea absolutely rejuvenating and enchanting are enjoyed on the terrace of the Imperial Club Lounge. I also relished the morning breakfasts served daily from 7 to 11 am. The breath-taking view of the Dubai Marina Skyline from the Royal Beach of Atlantis was simply ‘je ne sais quoi’. The atmosphere being really chilled and relaxed made the beach an excellent working environment.
We dined at the kaleidoscope which is a lavish buffet of international and local cuisine, on the first night. We took our lunch at the Yuan which is a traditional Chinese restaurant with the lavish interior inspired by classic Chinese elements that create a sense of harmony and balance. The sweet & sour chicken is a signature Chinese specialty with the sweet and sour flavors of pineapple, pear and honey accompanied with zucchini and bell peppers which make it extremely magical. Our brunch was at Poseidon Cafe with a dazzling view of the Ambassador Lagoon. Personally, I loved the extensive range of macaroons served in this cafe; it’s definitely a must have. The sandwiches too have a delectable taste and are quite a treat. All in all, I had a nice relaxing time at this great hotel.
