Kentucky born singer/songwriter Josh Osborne has developed a style of country that incorporates elements of the Americana and pop rock. Osborne began singing as a toddler and by the age of eight, was playing guitar. In middle school, Osborne began playing trumpet in his school marching band. At 14, Osborne joined his first band, Pure Young Country. Ultimately, he would go on to play guitar and bass with a number of bands.

Though Osborne grew up with George Strait, Randy Travis, and Keith Whitley as country influences, it was the Beatles who would inspire his passion for the craft of songwriting. In 1998, he moved to Nashville and was signed to a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music. He has had several cuts, including the top 5 Americana hit, “You Only Call Me…” Osborne currently writes for RSP Music/Intunes Music in Nashville, and is completing his debut album with songwriters/producers Joel Feeney and Kevin Savigar. The project is due to be released in December 2008 on Red Stripe Plane Music. The first single, “Hard Times” is available on iTunes and Rhapsody.
